Open bids from the seven cities, school districts, HRSD, VDOT and the state are scattered across a dozen different portals. We read them all and email you the ones that match your trade, every week.

This week's real sample: cleaning & facility services
Compiled by hand on October 17, 2026 from the official portals. This is what one weekly email looks like.
Janitorial Services Contract - York River Treatment Plant
HRSD (Hampton Roads Sanitation District) - routine janitorial services at the York River plant, Seaford. Solicitation 408368.
City of Norfolk - all labor, chemicals and equipment to exterminate and control pests inside and outside city facilities. Project 11014-R-2026. Addendum #2 posted Oct 13.
City of Norfolk - container and waste removal services citywide. Project 11127-0-2027/MD. Four addenda posted - a digest flags those so you never bid off stale documents.
Read this before you sign up. Bid Digest is an independent digest of information that is already public. We are not affiliated with any city, school district, HRSD, VDOT or the Commonwealth of Virginia, and we don't verify, endorse or guarantee anything: not bid documents, not deadlines, not awards. Deadlines and addenda change - always confirm the details on the official portal before you spend a minute on a proposal. We never submit bids for you and we can't influence who wins.
How it works
We do the portal rounds. Every week we check the bid boards for Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Hampton and Newport News, plus school districts, HRSD, HRPDC, VDOT and the state's eVA system.
You get only your trade. Pick janitorial, landscaping, pest, fencing, paving, painting, IT or bookkeeping. Your email lists each open bid with the buyer, a one-line scope, the deadline and a direct link to the official posting.
You bid direct. You register with the agency and submit your own bid. We just make sure you never hear about a good one the day after it closed.
Two weeks free. Then you decide.
If it finds you even one bid worth winning, it paid for the year.
